🎤 Choir 🎤

We are delighted to have Mrs. Pia Harper (congratulations Pia!) as Castillero’s Choral Director! Since joining Castillero in 2024, she has brought a wealth of experience, enthusiasm, and a deep passion for choral music.

Her impressive background includes serving as Alto Section Leader for the Peninsula Cantare choir, holding a leadership role with the American Choral Directors Association, and helping organize the National Association for Music Education Collegiate Chapter at San José State University.

Mrs. Harper is excited to welcome students into the Castillero Choir community, inspire their love of music, and build a strong choral and student leadership program that will continue to grow for years to come.

There are currently two award winning vocal groups at Castillero Middle School where students can participate in school concerts, community performances and the spring music festivals: Cobra Cantare (beginning/intermediate) and Concert Chorale (advanced).
