"Castillero Middle School is a remarkable place where young musicians are encouraged to explore their full potential within a vibrant and supportive community. The orchestra program, led by the exceptional Scott Krijnen, stands out as a high-quality program that fosters not only musical excellence but also kindness, camaraderie, and personal growth. The positive, uplifting environment Scott has built inspires students to grow both artistically and personally, creating a true community of support. Visiting Castillero each year and working with such incredible talent is one of the happiest, most fulfilling experiences I look forward to. I can’t wait to return in October 2025!"
