How long have you been singing?

3-4 yrs

What sparked your interest in choir/singing?

My love for singing. Even before middle school, I loved to sing along to any song I knew that came on the radio. Then middle school gave me the opportunity to sing in a group, so I jumped at the idea. From then on, my love for singing grew!

Do you have a favorite artist/group? What style of music do you like singing the most?

I don’t really have a favorite artist - I do enjoy singing any Disney songs and songs that have an upbeat, fun tempo.

What are your personal goals for your vocal development?

My goals are to become better at singing at a higher pitch. Growing my range has been my goal from the very beginning.

Can you share any tips for managing stage fright or nerves before a performance?

Just remember: everyone else probably feels your concern, and the audience won’t know if you mess up or be able to distinguish your voice to any others. Have fun and be confident! In the end, it always works out!

Any words of wisdom or encouragement for your peers?

BE CONFIDENT!! Confidence is key when it comes to singing live. Don’t worry about what others think, you’re doing what you love. Continue to follow your PASSION!
