For May's student spotlight, we have 8th grader Kyler from Symphonic and Jazz Band!
CMBC Board
Be a part of something great! We are currently recruiting for open CMBC board positions for the 2026-2027 school year:
President: Oversee CMBC operations, work closely with CMBC Board, schedule board and parent meetings about 5 times a year.
Secretary: Records board meeting minutes.
Fundraising VP: CMBC runs the Ice Cream Social in the fall and several fundraisers each school year to raise funds for CMBC costs and for trip fund to reduce the cost for all students.
Communications VP: Maintains/updates the CMBC website, update Calendar events, update our Facebook page, and give updates to Mrs. Campbell for the weekly bulletin.
Band Parent Reps/Helpers: Helps Mr. Bowman with concerts, the annual fundraiser concert, and Disney logistics.
Time commitments - the Board meets every other month and works together to support our fabulous music programs at Castillero. If you are interested or want more information, please contact us at cmbcpresident@gmail.com.

CMBC is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit organization. Our financial health depends heavily on your generosity, and any donation can be considered a charitable contribution and will be very much appreciated. CMBC manages funds donated to support our music programs at Castillero Middle School.
