About the Castillero Music Booster Club

The Castillero Music Booster Club (CMBC) is a dedicated community of volunteer parents and teachers who work together to support our band, orchestra, and choir programs, as well as the students and educators who bring them to life. Serving as an umbrella organization, CMBC helps coordinate and organize the many concerts and events held throughout the year. We work closely with our outstanding performing arts teachers, offering support wherever possible and providing additional resources when needed. This partnership allows our teachers to focus on nurturing students’ musical talents while fostering a lifelong appreciation for music, strengthening social-emotional growth, and enriching the overall middle school experience.

In addition to providing logistical support, CMBC plays a vital role in financially sustaining our performing arts programs through several annual fundraising efforts. While the school district offers some funding, the majority of program costs are met through donations from families and the community, corporate matching programs, and fundraising concerts. CMBC’s efforts help cover essential program expenses as well as additional opportunities such as field trips, clinics, and music festivals—ensuring that all students, including those with financial need, can fully participate and benefit from these experiences.
