I always liked music, and I felt like bass was cool and sounded good.

Jazz, 'cause I like how the music genre sounds.

 

What is giving/gave you the most trouble while learning, and what advice would you give to others having similar difficulties?

Key signature - I didn't like learning it, and it was hard.
