What sparked your interest in playing this instrument?

I liked percussion because of the movie Whiplash and liked bass because I played it like a guitar and felt cool (even though nobody cared).

What is your favorite musical piece that you've played?

Spain

What type of music do you most like to play and why?

Jazz because of the harmonization and unique time signatures

What is giving/gave you the most trouble while learning, and what advice would you give to others having similar difficulties?

Posture is hard to hold in my opinion (while sitting), and I would suggest focusing on that one thing while your playing no matter what when practicing.

Any words of wisdom or encouragement for your peers?

Practicing slow is the key to success👍
